Hi! How's your Saturday? I just finished a great interval workout on the treadmill. It felt awesome getting in a workout after being sick for over a week. I'm headed out to meet a friend for a walk, but I wanted to have something in my belly before leaving the house. I whipped up a delicious piña colada smoothie and thought I'd share the recipe with you.
Piña Colada Smoothie
8 oz pineapple juice
Splash of coconut milk (or use all coconut milk, but the juice really brings out the pineapple flavor!)
1/2 cup pineapple (I used frozen to help thicken the smoothie)
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 smallish banana
Put all ingredients in a blender and let it rip! This is the perfect drink on this cold February day - the first sip took me far away to a secluded tropical island!
