Tropical Avocado Smoothie

Hi! Here's a quick smoothie recipe that I whipped up this afternoon. Today is the last day of August and it's about 90 degrees in the Boston area! This smoothie is perfect for today's weather. Enjoy your day and have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

Tropical Avocado Smoothie
Serves: 1

8 oz of liquid (I used coconut milk and pineapple juice)
1/2 frozen avocado
1 small frozen banana
Handful frozen mango
1/2 cup or so of frozen pineapple
Protein powder

Add to blender and combine until smooth. I used frozen fruit because I always buy too much over the summer and have an abundance in the freezer. Fresh fruit can be used, but be sure to add some ice cubes to help thicken the smoothie. The ice helps make it really cold too!
